BOBS from Sketchers is proud to partner with Best Friends Animal Society to help save the lives of dogs and cats in shelters across the country. Every time a BOBS purchase is made, Sketchers will make a donation to support Best Friends’ many lifesaving initiatives; these initiatives include reducing the number of animals entering shelters and increase the number of animals who get adopted! Additionally, BOBS from Sketchers is the presenting sponsor of Best Friends’ Strut Your Mutt, a nationwide dog-walking event. This event helps to raise funds for homeless pets and Best Friends Super Adoptions, which has led to over 2,000 adoptions per year!

ALL ABOUT BEST FRIENDS:

  • Best Friends Animal Society is the only national animal welfare organization focused exclusively on ending the killing of dogs and cats in America’s shelters.
  • Best Friends operates Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, the nation’s largest no-kill sanctuary for companion animals.
  • Since Best Friends was founded in 1984, they have helped reduce the number of animals killed in shelters nationwide from 17 million per year to an estimated 4 million.

Where is Best Friends Animal Sanctuary?

Best Friends Animal Sanctuary can be found in southern Utah! On any given day, about 1,700 dogs, cats, horses, pigs, rabbits, birds and other animals take refuge there. Many have special needs making it harder for them finding homes. Others were abandoned, abused, hoarded, or victims of natural disasters.

Once these beautiful animals set foot on the grounds at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, they are given the opportunity to find their forever families and loving homes of their own.
